Carrying out industrial research to develop a double pull-out chain conveyor

"ELICA ELEVATOR" LTD produces machines and equipment for transporting bulk cargoes (elevators, chain conveyors, screw and belt conveyors and others, whose body is entirely of metal), machines for cleaning and calibration of oil and technical crops, in whose large number of metal parts are used. The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Elika-Elevatore Ltd. by developing the innovative facility for automated grain silos removal with an automated management and monitoring system. The goal of the project is to create the right concept for the innovative product and conduct a number of research to determine its optimal innovative functionality. This will give the company a competitive edge over a long period of time. Major activities are related to performing research, testing, measurements, as well as activities for the creation and testing of prototypes in laboratory conditions related to the developed innovation; activities to acquire tangible fixed assets and consumables needed for development, and visualization of the project. As a result of the development of the innovative facility, it is expected to achieve a higher grain removal capacity, respectively twice the silo discharge time, to control the residual availability of the products in the silos, to prevent mixing of different crops, different workflow parameters will be visualized in graphical and tabular form, archive production protocols will be kept, which will serve for further analysis and decision making.
