Development of an innovative device "ibox" from Estrel EAD

The ongoing technology development requires the application of increasingly flexible and innovative methods of communication, marketing, production and supply of goods and services, which requires the creation of new dynamics in all spheres of life and business. Through the implementation of this project, Estrel EAD, a software company with extensive experience will present a solution to a large part of the problems described above. The project is aimed at developing an innovative hardware device “Ibox”, enabling the interconnection of the various stakeholders, which build up a modern intelligent ecosystems at domestic, urban and national levels, and end-users of different products and services. The innovative device will provide the opportunity for two-way communication between all stakeholders of industries which secure the flows of goods and services, and the end-users of these goods and services and will provide the opportunity for direct communication and study of consumer attitudes, behavior patterns and other aspects of individual consumer groups. A team of experts will be formed to carry out the project, which will carry out the necessary research and testing, develop and test prototypes of the innovative product in a simulation environment also all the necessary consumables and services will be secured. The project will be implemented in partnership with IONH at the BAS. The innovation will be developed to technological readiness level TRL-6 and will be in the thematic area of ISSS “Mechanical and Clean Technologies”, priority “smart systems and appliances”, priority “smart homes” – “intelligent cities”. The main activity will be realized in the already established base for innovative research of Estrel EAD in Vratsa. The project falls under the category of industrial research. The main objective of the project is to increase the innovation capacity and competitiveness of Estrel EAD through the development of an innovative product at european level.
