Research and development of innovative platform for hiring, renting and booking of new type of office spaces – Nex2work

Semantic Interactive Ltd. aims to conduct a series of applied research activities in order to develop a globally innovative solution to a growing problem of employers - attracting and retaining talent, which is driven in part by technological expansion, the transition to a digital economy and the rise of the "digital nomad" phenomenon among an increasing proportion of the young population on the planet. To meet the ever increasing requirements and to retain employees, many companies are turning to the use of "outdoor offices" , located in remote locations outside major cities, providing both work and recreational/active rest opportunities for employees. In this newly forming niche of "corporate tourism," they face the hurdle of locating suitably equipped remote locations for individual employees or entire teams, primarily because of the lack of a centralized system to offer suitable spaces, tailored to the needs of employers. With the implementation of the project in partnership with the Varna University of Management, we have the ambition to develop an innovative solution to this problem by reversing the paradigm - an employer will associate with many offices (rather than using one office gt; one employer). Thus we create a solution whereby each employer will use multiple existing locations as offices. We aim to invested in research staff remuneration, consumables (database) and external consulting support needed for field and desktop studies to enable the conceptual design and development of a web-based application as a world-class innovation in the field of recreational industries (as per the BG innov.strategy). It will allow us to provide the innovative service connecting companies and landlords of suitable properties, based on the concept of "shared economy". The focus on employers as a segment (looking for outdoor offices or co-working spaces and recreation and leisure locations) ensures the competitive advantages over existing alternatives.
