Development of Product innovation - Intelligent system for micro-environment energy management in hotels.

NOVEL COM Ltd. is a start-up company with main activity in the sphere of R amp; D, development and production of electronic components, products and technologies with a focus on the construction and maintenance of energy management systems. The current situation in the hotel business, the rise of the electricity prices and the integration of more and more requirements and directives have greatly increased the need to reduce costs and optimize the electricity consumption. NOVEL COM Ltd. envisages the development of an innovative Intelligent system for micro-environment energy management in hotels for monitoring and management of the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the consumed electricity - by obtaining real time data and archiving it for retrieval of energy references saved in local or WEB based SERVER. The goal is to optimize the energy costs as a result of improved energy management and lower energy consumption, heating or cooling. The system allows, on the basis of the gathered information to take measures for more efficient energy usage, to reduce the losses, to provide complete and detailed information, necessary for the periodic conducting and energy audit. The project development and investments will be carried out on the territory of the city of Balchik, falls within the scope of two priority axes from the thematic area "Mechatronics and Clean Technologies", defined by ISIS and complies with the criteria of SOPE, defined by the Balchik-General Toshevo LAG. As a result of the project implementation is expected an innovation rise for NOVEL COM Ltd. for developing of eco-innovations in the thematic area mechatronics and IT technologies, within reasonable time-frames, on competitive prices and high quality by stimulating investment in the R amp; D, increasing the production capacity, sustainable development and increasing the investments in new products, processes and business models.
