Creation of a laboratory center for the collection and maintenance of global databases - LCD

This project is aimed at sustainable development of the innovation cluster „Knowledge-Intensive Development Association” by providing support to stimulate the innovation activity of the cluster and the creation of a Laboratory center for data collection which will be the only in Europe to provide a global data collection service on demand from a client, without restriction on scope, type and data sources, by building a shared infrastructure for common cluster activities, exchange of knowledge and experience and strengthening of the cluster's innovation and research potential and creation of cooperation. The project proposal includes a set of activities under Components 1 and 2, which are aimed at developing the capacity and internationalization of the candidate’s group by: providing resources for the activity and enhancing the capacity of the cluster's innovative staff; exchange of good practices; establishment and promotion of transnational cooperation and internationalization connections (Component 1) and acquisition of tangible and intangible assets for the development of shared cluster infrastructure - Component 2. The expected results from the implementation of these activities are: • New shared cluster infrastructure created - Global Data Collection Center • Provided resource capacity for cluster innovation activity - appointed innovative and research staff; • Increased capacity of the cluster and its members through participation in seminars, conferences and other events to share experiences and good practices • strengthened ties and cooperation between cluster members and external partners; • facilitated access to cluster members' technologies, resources and expertise. The cumulative effect of the implementation of the project will help to strengthen the innovation activity of the cluster, to provide a basis for sustainable development, to improve and internationalize the Knowledge-Intensive Development Association and its services.
