Development of innovation Cluster RES

Cluster Renewable Energy Sources (for the purposes of the project CRES or Cluster RES) is an association specialized in the development of high-tech products and innovative processes in the field of renewable energy. The innovation cluster consists of related organizations - industrial and/or service enterprises with a high degree of cooperation, which contribute to the realization of innovations, the implementation of new production solutions and the development of their potential. One of the biggest challenges for CRES and for clusters in Bulgaria in general is the lack of funding to improve their innovation performance. They do not have their own technologies and capabilities to develop critical innovations for particular sectors or groups of sectors of the economy and they do not have the financial means to outsource the necessary research. To meet these challenges, CRES applies under this procedure with a project proposal for the development of an innovative installation and the creation of a demonstration center for production and internal balancing of 100% green electrical energy. The project proposal includes the following activities: 1. Resource support for the activity of the cluster's innovation and research staff; 2. Acquisition of long-term tangible assets for common (joint) cluster innovation activities; 3. Acquisition of long-term intangible assets for common (joint) cluster innovation activities; 4. Publicity and visualization of the project. The implementation of these activities will contribute to enhancing innovation activity in the cluster as well as in its members. The support will provide access to the technology and expertise needed to strengthen and enhance the cluster's innovation and development activities. It will create a more attractive environment for innovation-generating enterprises.
