CALCIT Ltd. is a company with main activity production of quick lime, extraction of limestone and aggregate extraction-crushed stone. The company was founded in 1936, nationalised in 1947, and consequently privatised in 1998. CALCIT Ltd. is carrying on its activities in 2 blast lime furnaces located on the production site in Slivnitsa and the deposit of limestone "Kozqk-south". The deposit is with proven available stocks and it is near situated. The products are mainly used in the construction of buildings, production of building materials and extractive industries. The production goes mainly to domestic market and fewer are the export sales in Greece. The company is certificated for quality control of the production process according BDS. CALCIT Ltd. is registered according REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) in the European Chemicals Agency. The main barriers to the development of the company is the poor productivity and higher costs of products. These problems are caused by the insufficient capacity of one of the phases of the production process, which is the loading. This project envisages to be purchased and placed in service the necessary new equipment( loader), which will be the solution of the abovementioned problems. This action will contribute the company to achieve results like-reducing the time for loading, reducing the product costs, increasing the productivity, and the production capacity, and the volume of sales and export. The project will be implemented in the production premises of the enterprise. The realization of the project will contribute to significantly increase production capacity and export potential. It will enhance the competitiveness and the future of the company.
