„Improving the Production Capacity and enhancing the export potential of Smurfit Kappa Bulgaria Ltd. through investment in high-tech equipment for optimization of technological processes"

This project proposal is aimed at increasing production capacity of the applicant and enhancement export capacity of Smurfit Kappa Bulgaria Ltd. through conversions of the following activities: Activity for improvement of production processes, Activity for diversification of the range of products and services of enterprise, Activity for introduction of new technologies for improvement of the resources effectiveness and efficiency in the production process. The main instrument, through which will be implemented as separated activities, is buying these high- tech machines: Automatic flat bed die cutter; Automatic corrugated cutter; Technological pallet strapping line; Automatic Folder Gluer, 4 points Gluing system. The project is implemented in the field of Mechatronics and pure technologies of the Innovation strategy for smart specialization, since buying the new machines will lead to the introduction of the activities of Smurfit Kappa Bulgaria ltd., of modern and intelligent production systems. The new equipment will provide continuous and consistent production process, resource efficiency and effectiveness of the entire activity, and diversification of the product range by introducing new product groups: Die packages for fruits and vegetables of 5 ted cardboard and die packages – pizza boxes of 3 ted cardboard. All this will enable the company to provide production on competitive prices, with quality diffraction, which fully meet the requirements of customers. Will be answered to the demand of different and unusual corrugated packaging, which is having high export potential and real chances for successful realization on the foreign market. As result the company will build lasting competitive advantage which will resulting in the generation of greater return of capital.
