"Improvement of production capacity in "Gudex" AD"

“Gudex” AD is a company established in 1992, specializes in twist off (TO) and pilfer proof (PP) metal cap manufacturing – the said products satisfy the needs of canning, alcohol, winery, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. The company applies strict quality control in accordance with the GMP– a system of basic working rules in manufacturing packages intended for contact with food. The company constantly invests in improving the production process in order to meet the current production trend in the sector as well as the dynamics and development of customer demand and requirements. Furthermore, the company plans to implement the present project which main purpose is to increase the production capacity and enhance the export potential of “Gudex” AD. The project includes the implementation of following activities acceptable in accordance with the present procedure: 1) for improvement of production processes; 2) for adding of new features or improvement of existing products and services; 3) for variegation of companies’ range of products and services; 3) for introduction of modern technologies in order to improve the resource efficiency in the production process, which represents investment in fixed assets – a stamping press for production of twist off metal caps (TO) – 1pcs, and a forming/lining machine for production of twist off metal caps (TO) – 1 pcs., related to the increase the capacity of the existing establishment. The project activities and the expected results due to their successful implementation shall contribute to the effective overcoming of the problems and limitations the company faces in its development related to the lack of sufficient production capacity, the use of outdated technologies and high production costs as well as the inability to expand the product range. The project is also a part of the present procedure priorities related to the thematic prioritization, sustainable development and implementation of OPC projects.
