After the first trial order assigned to GURTSOV, POPA decided to stop the import from China and to assign bathroom commode production to the company - applicant under this project. As of September 2014 the orders placed by the Dutch trader have been growing by a rapid pace, which has led to the current situation of completely exhausted production capacity of GURTSOV Ltd. In order to assume the increasing volume of new orders, the company needs radically expanded manufacturing capacity – of latest generation abraiding and painting equipment, which shall substitute manual processing, significantly speed up the manufacturing process and provide the necessary competitive advantages to develop the export potential of Gurtsov Ltd. at the European market. Expansion of capacity would be achieved through the following activities: - Improvement of manufacturing processes - Adding new features to the existing products - Introduction of new technologies towards the improvement of resources efficiency These processes would be performed by buying the following tangible fixed assets: one-sided automatic machine for abrasion of edges, painting robot, painting and varnishing chamber in which the robot will operate. These activities will result into significantly expanded technological capacity by means of which Gurtsov Ltd. would satisfy the growing, basically foreign demand for bathroom furniture the company produces.
