Improving production capacity in „RMZ MIHAILOV" Ltd.

RMZ MIHAILOV EOOD, town of Vratsa, was founded in 2007. The company’s main business activity is the production of metal structures; facilities and equipment for hydro-power plants; equipment for waste-water treatment plants; fabrication and repair of boilers, pressure vessels and pipelines; manufacture of parts and modules added to the equipment for the chemical, metallurgical, machine-building and food industries and power engineering. The company’s activity is classified in the code 25.11 “Manufacture of metal structures and parts thereof” (according to the 2008 National Classification of Economic Activities). The main challenge the company currently faces is related to the low production capacity and the inability to meet the continually growing demand. The company cannot undertake large and complex contracts, to be completed in the deadlines required by the clients. This situation requires urgent measures to increase production capacity. The implementation of this project will greatly contribute to solving the problems identified through the purchase and integration of new, modern and high-performance equipment with which the capacity of the plant will be increased by 40% compared to 2014. The project provides for the purchase of the following equipment: 1. Automatic gantry-type cutting machine - 1 pc; 2. CNC Hydraulic press brake - 1 pc; 3. Hydraulic four-roll bending machine - 1 pc; Project activities include a procurement procedure (to be carried out in accordance with the procedure described in the Guidance on the Implementation of Grant Contracts financed under Operational Program “Innovations and Competitiveness” 2014 and Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 118 from 20.05.2014), delivery, installation and commissioning of the machines. Total value of the investment is BGN 496,780.82, VAT excluded. Planned project duration is 18 months.
