The present project proposal aims at increasing the production capacity of printing house “Bulvest print” JSC after the purchase of 1 five-color offset printing press with high leading and a system for production of thermal offset plates, including CTP module and one developer machine. This equipment will allow the company to optimize and overcome weak points in some of the basic processes in the printing business, namely pre-press preparation and the printing process. After the purchase of the described machines the company will double its production capacity for exposure of offset thermal plates and will increase the capacity of the printing process by 10%. Taking into consideration the fact that at the present moment the company owns only one CTP system, the purchase of the new one will prevent the printing process from stopping as a result of breakdown in the only CPT machine. Further positive effects from the realization of the project include the significant decrease in printing scrap and optimization in the number of low-quality exposure plates. As a result, the company will decrease the technological waste for deposition by 1 t/month. This on its own will lead to increase in the resource efficiency and the efficiency of the production process. Minimizing the use of external services in the pre-press process further stimulates the company’s management to realize the investment. The expected effects from the latter include a significant increase in the company’s market share on the national and international market. Financially, the company’s net income is expected to increase to more than 14 million lv. Until the end of the programming period described in the business plan, which is part of the project proposal.
