New opportunities for Borola Ltd

Borola’s overall vision is predicated on supporting a healthy way of living and instilling a health culture in the modern consumer. For almost 20 years, since its inception in 1996, we have been fully committed to the firm’s vision, turning Borola into the only company in Bulgaria, which not only produces food supplements and cosmetics but also has incorporated its products into holistic health programs targeted at the prevention and management of various diseases. All of Borola’s products are developed by the firm’s Ramp;D team. However, with our growth, as demand started to outpace our capacity to invest in production equipment, we were forced to outsource some of the production activities to independent contract manufacturers. This limits our production capacity, increases the production cost of the products, curtails flexibility in the product delivery timelines, and impedes our ability to maintain continuous and thorough quality control, consistent with the higher quality standards Borola strives to adhere to. These challenges can be readily addressed by investing in new production equipment, allowing us to close the production cycle for most of our products and stopping our reliance on external parties even for part of the technological process. Having our own equipment for all stages of the production process will allow us to increase our production capacity, reduce the use of production materials and energy resources, decrease the number of defective products, and last but not least, implement into regular production newly developed by us food supplements. A big part of our new products are meant to be exported which will increase our export potential and our overall level of competitiveness. A decrease in the production cost will lead to an increase in our profit margins, allowing us to continue our growth through further investments in new machines and equipment and expansion of the breadth and scope of our product portfolio.
