Technological modernization for improvement of the capacity and quality of ARISE Ltd.

This project is prepared by "ARISE" Ltd., a Bulgarian small company with main business "Production of shoes", economic code 15 20 under the Classification of the economic activities. The current project represents a continuation of a successfully implemented project Programme BG161PO003-2.1.13„Technoligival modernization in SMEs” in 2013. The project includes purchase and installation (supply, fixing and initial tests) of a digital cutter for leather and synthetic materials; pulling over and toe lasting machine, automatic, hydraulic with total independent tracers and programmable automatic heel-side and ball/waist lasting machine by thermocement with heel tacking system. The total amount of the project is BGN 1 071 000. The project shall be implemented on the territory of the South central planning region (NUTS 2). The project is aimed at the following targets: Target 1"Increase of the production capacity of the applicant" and Target 2 "Enhancement of the export potential of the applicant". The duration of the project is nine (9) months. The activities of the project are as follow: "Activities for improvement of the production processes" and "Activities for introduction of new technologies for improvement of the resource effectiveness and efficiency in the production". The project belongs to the following category of investment: "Enlargement of the capacity of the existing enterprise". The project corresponds to the following principles laid down in the horizontal policies of EU: "Equality and no discrimination" and "Sustainable development – support for projects contributing to environmental protection, improvement of the resource effectiveness and mitigation of the consequences of the climate change and adjustment to it". In the implementation phase the beneficiary shall strictly apply „Public tender“ as provided for by Ordinance 118/20.05.2014, because the grant size is bigger than 50% of the total project amount.
