Improving production capacity in Plexistab Bulgaria EAD

Plexistab Bulgaria EAD subject of activity: production and marketing of PVC pipes and other products for agriculture. At the moment, Plexistab Bulgaria EAD has 5 production lines with a total capacity of over 1300 tons/per year production output in the five-day work week, and three shifts. The main activity is production of flexible reinforced hoses and plastic products for agriculture and industry, construction, mining, public works, fire-fighting facilities, vessels and equipment. Plexistab Bulgaria EAD offers a total of 33 series of hoses, each of which is produced in 10 to 15 sizes (inner diameter). Basically the hoses are grouped into two types: BULFLEX and BULVYL. The first group of hoses is reinforced with spiral insert and is designed mainly for transport and discharge of water, liquids in agriculture, construction, food industry and others. The second type of hoses, which is reinforced with polyester thread, mainly is used for watering, transmission fluid, oil, air, etc. Additional equipment was purchased in 2013 and 2014, which allowed production of large sizes-from 110 mm to 152 mm. Another purchase in 2015 will allow the start-up of new production of PVC hoses, reinforced with a metal insert-BULSTEEL. The project aims for purchase of 3 sets of extrusion lines for flat double layer PVC hose reinforced with polyester thread, for sizes from 25 mm up to 250 mm. The advanced equipment intended for purchase by this grant procedure will add up new and also extremely valuable for the company's development technology and will create conditions for improvement of company’s image and will show new quality perspective for development.
