Increasing the production capacity of KAYF EOOD through the introduction of high-tech equipment

KAYF EOOD is a company specializing in the production of knitted clothing. The company was established 7 years ago with the mission to produce modern clothing which is fully comfortable for people of all ages. KAYF EOOD aims to establish itself as a subcontractor of leading European chains for clothing production and retail, thus integrating itself on the European market. The company expands its activities on a regular basis through investments in new and modern equipment, computer equipment, and specialized software. This project is part of the company’s mid-term development strategy, intended to expand the production capacity, optimize the company’s processes to increase competitiveness and satisfy client demands to a greater degree. The planned investments include the purchase, delivery and installation of an “all in one” sample system and 7 high-tech knitting machines. All assets will be delivered and installed at the company’s new production facility in the city of Pleven. The successful implementation of the project will lead to the following positive results: + Expanding production capacity by 15% compared to 2014 in the year of completion of the project and by 34% in the following year. + Reducing scrap by 10% + Reducing the quantity of the yarn per unit by around 20% + Shortening order execution times by up to 40% + Improving the characteristics of existing products + Enriching the product range + Hiring another 5 employees + Reaching new export markets – the Netherlands, Sweden and Poland.
