Improving production capacity in KMM Plc.

The purpose of this project is connected with the achievment of the specific object of the procedure for a rise in the production capacity and the export potential of Bulgarian small and medium enterprises. The activities planned in the project include purchasing and putting into operation of new automatic and semiautomatic machines, which are going to contribute to the automation of the production process and the improving of the production capacity of ‘’KMM” Plc. The need for a project investment comes from the fact that a part of the machines and the equipment by which the production process is realized, are outdated and have partly lost their effectiveness. For some of the production operations the company needs the services of outsourcing subcontractors which raises the cost price of the products. The high level of the depreciation of the available production equipment, the outdated technologies, the huge rate of dependence on manpower and the need for taking precise high-tech decisions in the current economic reality make it necessary to invest in new machines and equipment in accordance with current standards of quality. As a result of the introducing of the new equipment, the production process will be optimized. It will eliminate the dependence on subcontractors for some of the production process and the quality of the products will improve. The raised effectiveness will reduce the production costs per unit of product and therefore will cut the cost price of the whole production, which will give an opportunity to set up a competitive price of the products. The successful realization of the project will lead to the rise in the production capacity and the competitive power of the enterprise.
