Improving of the production capacity and enhance the competitiveness of "Lomsko Pivo" LTD

"Lomsko Pivo" AD is a company with main subject of activity the production of beer. The production process of the beer is characterized by many manufacturing operations and biochemical processes that to a great extent determine the necessity of the brewery enterprises from a considerable material base. The efforts of the leadership of the company are aimed at the modernization of the production base, full automation of the production processes, increasing production capacity in order to meet market demand volumes and intensifying the export potential of the company. Under the project are foreseen investments in tangible assets, required to improve the production processes on bottling the finished product as well as labeling and palletizing; reduction of production costs and optimizing the production chain and accordingly - increasing the added-value. The following machines are foreseen to be purchased: Monoblock - Automatic machine for washing, filling and closing of beer- 1 piece; automatic rotary labeling machine for two round labels, combined – 1 piece; automatic palletizer - 1 piece and automatic machine for wrapping pallets with stretch foil with a rotating hand - 1 piece . The commissioning of the project intended high-tech equipment will lead to full automation of the final stages of the production process, it will allow diversity in the range of products offered, it will lead to an increase in productivity and production capacity of the company, will lead to expansion of its market position outside the country and increase the generated income from export and will boost the competitiveness of "Lomsko Pivo" AD. The project will be implemented in the Northwest region, for planning - town Lom. The project falls within the thematic areas "Mechatronics and clean technologies" and "Industry for a healthy life and bio-technologies" of the Innovation Strategy for an intelligent specialization.
