Increasing of the production capacity of Fokas-2 Ltd.

Company "FOKAS-2" EOOD was established in 2007 and specializes in the design and manufacture of metal structures and parts of them on order. The enterprise performs mainly products for the advertising sphere and for interior design. The main stages in the production process of the company include processing of sheet material (cutting), mechanical processing (bending, welding cycle (if necessary) and painting. Under the project are foreseen investments in tangible assets, required for the improvement of the production processes related with the services of welding and drilling, reduction of production costs and optimization of the production process. The planned project activities are associated with the purchase and commissioning of: laser portal machine for cutting metal sheets – 1piece. Laser cutting is the most productive method for the production of details with excellent quality per unit of time. The investment will allow the enterprise to fully optimize the services "Cutting" and "Drilling", to diversify the range of offered services by offering its customers the services "Laser cutting" and "Laser drilling", which will expand the sphere of their application and will increase the volume and quality of the manufactured products. The deadline for the execution of orders will significantly shorten and will ensure a higher quality of products. Putting into use the foreseen under the project portable laser machine will allow the servicing of production series that are too small to be ordered in China, but large enough to produce in Central Europe, where workforce is more expensive. It will raise the production capacity and will strengthen the export potential of the enterprise. Increased productivity and expanded markets will ensure increasing competitiveness of the company. The project falls into one of the thematic areas of the Innovation Strategy for an Intelligent Specialization - Mechatronics and clean technologies.
