Improving the production capacity of Triada Engineering Ltd.

The main activities of Triada Engineering Ltd. are constructional engineering, production and installation of metal structures for the construction industry. The products and services of the company are divided in the following groups: 1. Production of elements for metal constructions (tubular space frame structures, traditional metal constructions and small architectural forms) 2. Other metal products 3. Metal constructions installation and attending construction activities Main part of the production process consists of manual labour and the company faces difficulties in cutting out complicate elements, which are often subcontracted to external companies. On the other hand, the company doesn`t have the technical means to meet the standards for precision in production of some construction elements requested by foreign clients. Another drawback is the insufficient production capacity to take existing orders from local and foreign potential clients. Within the project proposal the company plans to put into operation high technology production assets to overcome these setbacks: 1. CNC automatic plasma and oxy cutting system and 2. CNC automatic drilling system. As a result of the project implementation, the production capacity, the quality of existing products and the export performance of the company will be highly improved. The project activities include purchase, delivery and putting into operation the mentioned systems. The concrete results of the project activities include: 1. Improved production process and quality of existing products by elimination of manual labor through automation 2. Improved resources efficiency through energy efficient and environmental friendly technologies, reduced energy consumption by 20 % and reduced amount of scrap by 10 % 3. Improved export performance 4. Improved production capacity by 20% 5. Reduced cost price by 15 %.
