Upgrading the furniture mechanism producing equipment of "METMA"OOD

“Metma” OOD is specialized in the production of mechanisms, modules and components for the furniture industry, focusing on upholstered furniture. The production of mechanisms is the main activity of the company and therefore the code of economic activity is 25.72. The realization of this project is important step in the implementation of the development strategy of “METMA" OOD, which is designed for improving “METMA's" competitiveness. Satisfied needs: - Improving the production capacity - Closing the production cycle and optimizing the production costs - Diversification of production - Production process automation and improvement of product quality Target group: “METMA” OOD is in the scope of SME target groups, identified in the current procedure. Objectives: The overall objective of the project, which will lead to meeting the needs of the market and achieving targeting results, is to improve the productive capacity of the enterprise. The following specific goals are identified: 1. Acquisition of new machinery and equipment for the production of mechanisms for furniture 2. Increasing the production capacity of the entity 3. Introduction of new types of projects on the market. 4. Optimization of production costs and reduction in unit cost of production 5. Improving the market position on domestic and foreign level Expected results: - Reaching internal rate of return – 18% - Increasing productivity of the entity compared to 2014, with at least 17% - Increase of the average revenues generated from exports as a result if the investment project by 25% - Increasing the effectiveness of production costs compared to 2014 by at least 16% Main activities: - Activities directed to improving production processes; - Activities for diversification of the range of products and services of the entities; - Activities for implementation if new technologies for improving the resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process.
