The project proposal of BIOSET Ltd includes implementation of two new packaging lines in the production process that will cover the products that used to be machine packed: foods, spices and mixtures thereof, to significantly increase productivity and export potential, improving production processes, adding new features and improving existing products, introduction of new technology to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process. The project implementation will include suppliers` choice, purchasing, delivery and commissioning of new automated packaging lines. The need for implementation of the project stems from the need to increase production capacity and improve the product quality without increasing the cost. The dynamic market development and higher marketing requirements of the international retail chains require that the existing products preparation technology is carried out in several stages, both machine and manual, which makes it harder to effectively enterthe market as a competitive supplier. The lack of sufficient production capacity for large numbers and order volumes covering all the market requirements as well as the use of outdated technologies and equipment with high labour intensity of individual operations and higher production costsslows down the company development. Investing in last generation robotic production lines, incorporating several machines for interrelated processes based on accurate sensors and positioning, adds a lot more value than the direct increase in productivity and product quality. The project will optimize the production and packing material cost and the product safety and will allow BIOSET Ltdto effectively expand production and improve its market position.
