Improving production capacity and export potential of KEM GLASS Ltd

The project proposal of KEM GLASS Ltd. includes activities leading to improvement of the production processes; addition of new features and improvements to existing products; introduction of new technologies to improve resource efficiency andeffectiveness in the production process. Implementing the activities will include suppliers’ choice, purchasing, delivery and commissioning of new automated technological equipment for the glass industry.Investing in new technological equipment for shaping and cutting of laminated glass in CNC-machine processing in three axes of wide-format glass and automatic line spacers will directly increase the production capacity of the company and the quality of the products and will diversify the range of thefinal glass products. The choice of activities under this project was prompted by the need to expand and modernize production capacity through new specialized equipment, and to optimize the production of the main products of KEM GLASS Ltd. An important element of the implementation of the project is through investment to improve and optimize the use of raw materials. Automatic line spacers, besides improving the quality and diversifying the manufactured glass, will minimize production waste and optimize the inputs. Improving shapingand cutting of laminated glass will affect technological waste and will reduce the loss. The project investment will result in automated adequate for the purposes and activities of the company's technological equipment, it will improve the production process and will optimize the production chain;it will increase the manufacturing capacity and productivity and will decrease the costs, the terms of execution and the cost of the production. This will enable KEM GLASS Ltd. to increase competitiveness and expand production and market positions.
