Improving the Production Capacity of Kolos EOOD

The project proposal is aimed at receiving financial grant aid by KOLOS EOOD (the company's main business activity is production of pressure and LPG vessels) for investments in fixed assets (delivery, assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of machinery) related to the capacity expansion of the company's existing business site in Veliko Tarnovo. The project aims at achieving the following two main objectives - Increase production capacity and Enhancement of export potential of the candidate and includes: – activities for improvement of production processes; – activites for adding new features or for improvement of existing products or services; – activities for introduction of new technologies for improvement of the resources effectiveness and efficiency in the production process. The main expected results of the project are: – improvement of production processes by automatization, improvement of the quality of existing products, improvement of resources effectiveness and efficiency in the production process; – increase of the production capacity by approximately 20%, as a result of capacity expansion in business site of the company in Veliko Tarnovo; – increase in sales revenue by 22%; increase of the market share at local, regional and national level, and on international market; increase of the export revenue by 50% and the share of exports in revenue from 24% to 38%; – reducing the quantity of materials needed for production and the production cost by 12% – reducing production waste by 70% and the amount of waste by 25-30%; – in medium term, achieving internal rate of return of the project over 15%; increase productivity with more than 18%; increase in the average revenue generated by exports with more than 26% , and increase the efficiency of production costs by more than 21%.
