The core activities of the Dusitex Ltd are production and distribution of a wide range of interior textile products that provide comfort and healthy sleep - mattresses, pillows and accessories. The company was established in 2007 as a Bulgarian-Belgian joint venture. Due to the development strategy that was chosen, the company is stably positioned on the European market with over 90% of the production exported. The positive results that were recorded regarding the realization of the production are consequence of the implementation of the management principles for sustaining competitiveness and economic growth. In this respect the current investment activity of the Dusitex Ltd aims at amplifying the production capacity and increasing the export balance by introducing new machinery and equipment - multineedle double chain stich quilting machine, automatic hemming machine, press for quilts, compressor, racks system. Within 12 months is planned modernization of production capacities. The introduction of new machinery and production systems with a high degree of electronic control will lead to positive results regarding: 1. The volume and the quality of the production; 2. Diversification of the assortment; 3. Modernization of the production cycle; 4. Market expansion and increase of export potential; 5. Raising the resource efficiency and the labor productivity.
