"Implementation of new technologies for improving productivity and enhancing the export potential of Emkom Bulgaria Ltd."

This project proposal is directed at increasing production capacity of Emkom Bulgaria and enhancement its export capacity through fulfillment of the following activities: Activity for improvement of production processes, Activity for diversification of the range of products and services of enterprise, Activity for implementation of new technologies for improvement of the resources effectiveness and efficiency in the production process. The main instrument, through the set activities will be implemented, is buying high- tech Automatic technological line for pressing glued parquet floors – 1 pc. The project is implemented in the thematic area of Mechatronics and pure technologies of the Innovation strategy for smart specialization, since buying the new line will effectively lead to commissioning of modern and intelligent production systems by Emkom Bulgaria. The new equipment will bring up continuous and consistent production process, efficiency and effectiveness of the entire activity, in respect of resources used and diversification of the product range by introducing 1 new product and 1 new service: parquet pads and “pressing details” (as a service) for other companies in the industry. All this will bring the company to a different technological level and will make possible to provide production on competitive prices, with high-quality features, which fully meet the requirements of customers. Furthermore through implementation of this project, the demand for quality pads for parquet will be met and increase of the output produced will allow not only fulfilment of all orders within a period requested, but also to increase the export potential of Emkom Bulgaria, by the conquest of new market niches.
