Enhancing the production capacity and export potential of MAT Ltd, town of Razgrad

MAT Ltd was registered and has been operating in the town of Razgrad. The company manufactures emergency shackles for water-supply systems (Applicant's patent), steel structures for photo-voltaic power plants, boilers and buffers, non-standard equipment for the food and processing industry, as well as structural element for the construction industry. MAT Ltd. continuously strives to expand its client database by offering its standard range of products, as well as special articles, made to meet customer's technical specification. This production 'flexibility' is one of the essential competitive advantages of the enterprise. The Company's strategy of development is based on expansion of process capacities to optimize manufacturing processes. The Company's available equipment now does not allow for the required production capacity to be met, so as to satisfy the higher client requirements, related to the quality of manufactured production. The Applicant's major issue today is the missing export potential, mainly due to the deficit of process capacities and inadequate quality of final products. The present project provides for investments in material assets, intended to automate and optimize the manufacturing processes, as well as to improve resource efficiency and production yields, as a prerequisite for the sustainable development of MAT Ltd. The project is comprised within the category of "Expanding the capacity of an existing business establishment". It provides for investments in long-term material assets, particularly related to the following activities: 1.Activities to improve production processes; 2. Activities for the implementation of new technologies to improve resource efficiency and production yields. 3. Activities to improve and complement the existing products' specifications with new characteristics.
