Enhancing the production capacity and export potential of TOSITA S.A., city of Rousse

TOSITA S.A. was founded in 1988 in the city of Rousse as a private company, specializing in the production of wire meshes and metal products. The company's products are widely used in the construction industry, mining, farming, machine building, chemical industry, as well as others. The production has well established itself on the domestic market. The company also exports some of its products to the Romanian market, as well as to the European community - through other commercial companies. The major products, manufactured today are: - Welded wire mesh - a major product in the Company's production list; - Ornamental/decorative mesh/ electrically welded mesh with various opening profiles/; - Woven wire mesh for sieves; - Wire conveyor belts; - Wire mesh fencing panels and billdboard panels. The feeble export activity and the lacking access to external markets present a grave issue to the company. The present project shall contribute to the continued improvement of the company's production capacity, leading to the sustainable presence of TOSITA's products on the national and international markets. The project falls within the category of "Expanding the capacity of existing facility/production site" and provides for investments in tangible assets - a welding machine for wire mesh and frames/panels - for the implementation of the following activities: - Activities to improve production processes; - Activities for the implementation of new technologies to improve resource efficiency and production yields. The machine to be purchased shall increase the production capacity in wire mesh and fencing panels, while improving the quality of the final product. Much of the output shall be exported, thus creating a substantial export potential for the company yet in the first year upon project completion.
