Improvement of the production capacity of INTECHNA JSC

INTECHNA JSC is a leading Bulgarian engineering and manufacturing company founded in 1993. The company has a research and development office based in Sofia and a factory for tool manufacturing and production of plastic parts based in Stara Zagora. INTECHNA and its subsidiary Beroe Engineering JSC employ over 90 highly qualified specialists. INTECHNA applies a quality management system certified according to ISO 9001:2008. One of the company's key advantages is that its portfolio covers the complete product development cycle - from concept to mass production. INTECHNA performs complex innovative projects including the following activities: - Product design - in the fields of electronics, electrical engineering, household appliances, consumer products, packaging, transport machinery, and heavy machinery. - Digital simulation - strength, tolerance, mechanism, and thermal analyses; simulation of the moulding process of plastic parts. - Design and manufacturing of a wide range of tools - moulds, dies, press tools, and casting tools. - Production of plastic parts and assembly of units. This project provides for implementation of high-tech equipment, including a precise surface grinding machine, a die-sinking electric discharge machine and a large-sized robotic injection moulding machine. The equipment expands the technological capabilities of INTECHNA and will be of key importance to the accomplishment of the ongoing Ramp;D projects and the development of the company in the coming years. The equipment will facilitate the expected growth in the production volumes and exports in 2016 and subsequent years, calculated on the basis of annual forecasts of the main clients of the company. As a result of the project, we plan to achieve the following key performance indicators (KPI's): - Internal rate of return (IRR) of 26.29% - Productivity growth by 37.71% - Increase in export revenues by 123.43% - Increase in the efficiency of production costs by 16.16%
