Expanding the technological capacity of "M. V. Lomonosov" Ltd.

The current project proposal envisages investments for expanding company's capacity of the existing production site in Industrial zone, Pleven through technological optimization of manufacturing processes, which are concluded in the following technological stages of mechanical processing: -cutting -turning -milling - bending - pressing - welding. These technological stages should be provided by modern and appropriate production equipment. The current project proposal foresees the following activities to be implemented: - improvement of prodduction processes; - Implementing new technologies for improving the resource efficiency and effectiveness in the manufacturing process, which are going to be realized through investments in the following long term assets: 1. Hydraulic press - 1 piece. 2. Filiform erosion machine with CNC and 5 axes - 1 piece. 3. Automated production line for mechanical treatment of metal band 60 (600 kN) ton - 1 piece. 4. Automated production line for mechanical treatment of metal band 100 (1000 kN) ton - 1 piece. 5. Hydraulic guillotine - 1 piece. 6. Bending machine without mandrel - 1 piece. The so envisaged equipment shall complement or completely replace the old technological park. As a result the production processes shall be improved to the following effect: - improvement quality of the production; - expanding the prodduction capacity; - reducing prime cost of the prodduction. - improving the resource effectiveness through reducing energy consumption and technological scrap. Through purchasing and introducing into production the new equipment and its effect over the company's activity, the project shall completely conform to the EC horizontal policy for sustainable development towards: - environmental protection by reducing such aspects as noise, vibration, production waste; - raising the resource effectiveness by reducing the energy consumption, technological production time and production scrap/ waste.
