Improving the competitiveness of ET TODOR POPOV - DEMT by expanding the production capacity and the export potential.

The main hindrances to the expansion of business of ET TODOR POPOV – DEMT are related to low productivity and the fully used production capacity, insufficient number of colors used in the printing, inconsistent quality and low resource efficiency and effectiveness of the offset production processes. In order to counter the established hindrances, it is necessary to take actions aimed to: 1. Upgrade the manufacturing processes; 2. Introduce new technologies for improved resource efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process; By implementing the planned activities, we will put into operation a modern five-color sheet offset printing press and as a result we will: Improve the offset printing process. Increase production capacity for offset printing by 280%. Increase the number of colors. Reduce rejection rate and manufacturing waste by 90%. Improve resource efficiency and effectiveness by 16.10%. Improve labor productivity by 25.9%. Increase production in 2019 by 63.61%, net sales by 70.37% compared to the benchmark 2014. In 2019 the share of exports will reach 14.37% of the net sales. The results of the project activities will help to achieve the project specific goals: 1. Upgrade of the manufacturing processes; 2. Introduction of new technologies for improved resource efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process. By achieving the specific goals, the project will help to achieve the overall aim of the project: Improving the competitiveness of the company ET TODOR POPOV - DEMT by expanding the production capacity and the export potential of the company. The implementation of the project will allow for the manufacturing process to support the expansion of the business. The requirements of the target groups will be met - beneficiary, the company personnel, existing and future customers.
