Technological modernization of the production – a path to increasing the production capacity of “Desislava” Ltd

This project is aimed at increasing the production capacity and creating export potential of the company “Desislava” Ltd through investment in purchasing, delivery, installation and start-up of modern technological equipment for automation of the production process –sewing machines for the company production facilities, found in the town of Popovo. “Desislava” Ltd was established in 2004. Owner of the company is Desislava Dimitrova Denkova. The enterprise had traditions in tailoring since the sole proprietor of the firm ran at that time another tailor company (Sole trader “Desislava 99 – Desislava Denkova”) and had been engaged in that activity since 1999. In February 2011 Sole trader “Desislava 99 – Desislava Denkova” merged with “Desislava” Ltd. The company works mainly under commissioning, while in recent years it strengthens its positions in the Bulgarian market by continuously increasing its market share. The implementation of the project will help achieve a number of priorities which are part of the medium- and long-term business strategy of the company, namely: restructuring of the product range; automation of the production process; improving the quality and at the same time – optimizing the overall production costs as well as reducing the unit costs of production; expanding the market positions in the national and entering the international market; increasing the employment quality in the enterprise; increasing the resource effectiveness and efficiency of the production process. The implementation of the project will help overcome a number of problems facing the company, namely low productivity, lack of abilities for improvement and diversification of the characteristics of the company products – men’s and women’s pants, low level of automation of the production process, high production waste, etc. These are the factors which motivate the present project proposal of “Desislava” Ltd.
