DAPHNE Ltd is one of the leading companies in the production of women's clothing and for the past 25 years has been one of the market leaders for quality ladies' apparel. The brand has established its image, distinguished European quality and creative design. The market success of the company is supported by a team of experts, as well as modern production technologies and uncompromising quality. The process equipment is of fundamental importance to the manufacturing and product quality, therefore the company invests portions of its profit on a regular basis in new machinery. However, part of the manufacturing processes are still performed with an older low capacity, generation of machines, involving a lot of manual labour, which justifies for disturbances in production rates and prevents the prompt fulfilment of larger orders. These negative drawbacks limit the Company's growth and options for market development, which brings about the requirement to introduce new high-tech equipment in the manufacturing process, as provided for by this project. The projected activities are targeted at purchasing and commissioning new equipment, including a Robot Cutting Room equipment with specialized software, new high-tech sewing machines, professional equipment for ironing room and specialized system for interactive design of garments. This project is comprised within the category - "Expanding the capacity of an existing business establishment" and provides for investments in tangible assets, particularly related to the following activities: measures for improvement of production processes, enhancing the quality of finished products, improving cost efficiency by introducing new technologies to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness in the manufacturing process. The overall impact of the project's implementation shall be the expansion of the enterprise's scope of activities, a steady presence on the Bulgarian and international market.
