Improving the production process, increasing the production capacity and enhancing the export potential of "Te Glass Co." Ltd.

The project is part of the long-term strategy of The Glass Co. Ltd. for increasing its competitiveness on the international market through improving the production capacity and range of products in the existing factory. This strategy is determined by the specific scope of activity of the company - production and processing of glass products in which the production capacity of the company is limited by the number of the glass fusing machines. Among the main activities that are necessary to be implemented for achieving the strategy of the company are improving the production processes and resource efficiency and effectiveness of the production. Namely these needs addresses the present project, which includes the purchase of: 1. Roller kiln 2. Machine for strapping of pallets 3. Machine for wrapping of pallets 4. Machine for sealing of cartons 5. Machine for printing barcodes and labels 6. Folding roller conveyor 7. Electronic scale 8. Packing system with inflatable pads to soften blows Through introduction of these modern technologies the company will be able to produce and deliver its products in much shorter time, and also to implement safely (given the fragile products) larger orders at large distances where transport is more complicated. As a result of the project, the company will: - Improve production processes - Increase production capacity - Increase the average revenue generated from export - Increase efficiency of production costs - Reduce energy consumption The outcome of the project for the company is increased market share and strengthened competitive position at the international market.
