Increasing production capacity and export potential of “MIKONI” Ltd. - a prerequisite for sustainable development and competitiveness

Miconi Ltd was founded in 2004. At this stage, the development of the company is limited by capacity shortages as a result of which limited opportunities for expanding markets, especially foreign. With this and related objectives of this project proposal, namely: - Increasing production capacity; - Increasing export potential. The aim of the project proposal fully meets the objective of this procedure, namely "enhancing productive capacities and enhance the export potential of Bulgarian SMEs." The provided project activities fall into the following categories of investments: Investments in tangible assets related to the expansion of the capacity of MIKONI For this purpose of this project provides the delivery of the following equipment for the execution of processes "pressing and punching details of sheet iron" and "Welding": 1) Punching machines 2) Robotic system for automatic welding The capacity expansion activities include following categories of activities: 1 / Activities to improve production processes 2 / Activities to add new features or improve existing products and services 3 / Activities to diversify the range of products and services to companies 4 / Activities for implementation of new technologies to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process. This project is consistent with the following principles horizontal EU policies: 1. Sustainable Development 2. Equality and non-discrimination Effect of the project: - Internal rate of return: 24.6124% - Increase in export revenues: 25.1768% - Increased efficiency: 16.3181% - Increased productivity: 17.7640% These results will contribute to achieving the objectives and indicators of the procedure for grant "Improving the production capacity of SMEs."
