Increase of the production capacity and enhance of the export potential of Djela-N.D. Ltd

Djela-N.D. Ltd was established in 1992 as a sole trader, and in 2002 was re-registered as Limited Liability Company with main economic activity 10.71 - "Manufacture of bread and fresh pastries". The main activity of the company is production and trade of bread, bakery products, catering products and pastries. The need for implementation of this project is dictated primarily by insufficient competitiveness of the company, due mainly to the lack of sufficient production capacity to meet products' demand in the country and abroad. Other restrictions on activity development are related to the difficulty in obtaining credit resources as well as to the growing needs of current customers of the company who put increasing demands on the assortment of the company. Through the realization of this project and the implementation of Puff pastry products production line, the company will manage to overcome the above limitations and negative effects, to increase its production capacity and exports. The company's management believes that the implementation of project activities aimed at expanding the capacity of the existing businesses entity, will to the greatest degree contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of the Djela-N.D. Ltd, which are in line with the investment priority 2.2 "Capacity growth of SMEs." The implementation of the project activities, which compliant to two of the thematic areas in ISIS - Industries for a healthy life and Biotechnology and Mechatronics and clean technologies - will increase production capacity and enhance the export potential of Djela-N.D. Ltd. This will reflect positively on the company development in short and medium term and in a 3-year 26,79% growth in revenues generated by exports and over 16% increase in productivity and efficiency are expected.
