Improving export potential and competitiveness of "Monie Bulgaria" Ltd. by purchasing automated high-tech installation package of tiles.

"Monie Bulgaria" Ltd. is the successor of the ceramics factory " Straldzha Ceramics " . In 1995 . the factory was privatized and became a private company. The new management made a number of radical reforms and reinvest part of the revenues in technological renewal of production equipment. Principal business activity is the production of ceramic tiles and accessories for the roof. At present, the full production capacity of the enterprise is not used due to the inability to realize production on foreign markets. Obstacle which is the lack of equipment for quality packaging of finished products, and its transportation over long distances 10-15% of the goods are delivered in unusable condition. This has a negative impact on the image of the enterprise and in recent years the leadership decided to stop export activity. In order to fully develop the production potential and further export one now needs to purchase high-tech automated system for packing tiles with packing bag. In this method the bag fit snugly and not leave gaps for movement of tiles in transport. This packaging technology is a guarantee for a stable and safe transportation of products and their supply over long distances. Furthermore, a more efficient method of packing in the present investment goals and automation of the intermediate process in which the tile is moved from the ribbon cartridge with the U-bar of hand sorting. This process is very inefficient, slow and labor-intensive. Purchase and put into operation the new equipment will improve production efficiency and by Tammy its competitiveness. Thus "Monie Bulgaria" Ltd. will be able to maintain and expand its market position not only in the countries of the euro area and globally, offering competitive ratio of price, quality and time for execution.
