Expanding the product range of DIK-2000 Ltd for better positioning on the wafer market

The company DIK-2000 Ltd produces wafers under the brand of CREDO. At its facility, DIK-2000 Ltd has three technological lines used in the production of ordinary (not coated) and coated (in milk or cocoa and milk) wafers. The company’s products are well known both in Bulgaria and on the foreign market. The company has established stable partnerships with countries from the Middle and Far East, where it intends to keep on developing. In order to achieve that, however, it needs to make efforts in expanding its product range and create conditions for increasing the production volume. In order to meet these needs, DIK-2000 Ltd plans to commission a new automatic flat wafer production line. The equipment will make it possible to expand the product range by allowing the company to produce wafers with airated cream which has lower content of raw materials, including preparations. The new line would also allow the decommissioning of one of the old production lines, which is expensive to maintain, and its frequent repairs result in long interruptions of the production process. As a result of the project implementation, DIK-2000 Ltd expects to increase its capacity for receiving and fulfilling orders of various types and volumes, which will have a beneficial effect on its financial results. It is expected that over the three years after the project’s completion the company will increase its productivity by an average of 15,51% as compared to 2014, to have 16,26% average increase in cost efficiency, and to have a 44,7% average increase in export revenues as a result of the project as compared to 2014.
