Expanding the production capacity and improving the competitiveness of Antoan Vill EOOD through technological innovation

Antoan Vill EOOD is among the leading companies in Bulgaria for production of women's apparel. The company was established in 1991 in Rousse with main business activity - production of women's apparel (confection). 80 % of the company’s production is sold on foreign markets while the remaining 20% are realized on the national market. At present the production is mostly focused on manufacturing of women’s skirts, pants and jackets. Currently the company is developing with a very positive pace. Nevertheless, in the context of the global economic slowdown and the increasing pressure from companies from East Asia, the company experiences difficulties in ensuring a strong competitive advantage. The main problem on which the company management efforts are focused is related exactly to this. Most of the equipment of the company is outdated and has limited features set which doesn’t allow the company to expand its production capacity, reduce production costs and diversify its product portfolio. The expanding of the market positions of Antoan Vill and the attracting and retaining of new clients from Bulgaria and abroad, requires the company to optimize its production process and increase its technological level. That is why the accomplishment of the current project is crucial for the future development of the company. Through the successful implementation of this project the company expects to achieve the following specific results: ∙ Increase of the production capacity of the company by 30%; ∙ Automation and optimization of production processes; ∙ Reduction of the time required for production per unit of by 30%; ∙ Creating technological conditions for diversification of the product portfolio; ∙ Minimizing the potential for human error in the performance of business processes.
