ENHANCING THE PRODUCTION CAPACITY OF DEIZI NOVA EOOD

DEIZI NOVA EOOD was set up in 2006. Up until 2008 its main line of business was wholesale and retail trade in babies’ and children’s goods. In 2008 the company launched what is now its main line of business. DEIZY NOVA’s production is sold both on the national and international markets. Its core products include: baby cots, beds for young children and teenagers, children’s desks, chest of drawers and wardrobes. The company’s products are certified under the Bulgarian National Standards. The company has registered its own brand DIZIAN BABY with the Patent Office. Currently the company has the potential market for a larger production volume; however, its insufficient production capacity does not allow it to produce the desired market volumes and deliver with the desired product diversity. The lack of some specialised machinery and equipment, as well as the insufficient technological level of the available equipment, are among the reasons why the company fails to produce larger quantities so as to satisfy customer demand. The aim of the project is to enhance Daisy Nova’s production capacity and strengthen its export potential. The main project activities seek to improve the production process, add new features to or improve existing products, diversify the product portfolio, as well as introduce new technologies to improve the resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process. The project includes purchase of machinery and equipment the incorporation of which will bring about the following outcomes: - enhanced production capacity of the company - improved productivity - improved efficiency based on production costs - raised export revenues - added new features and improvements to existing products - diversified product portfolio - improved resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process.
