Improving the Productive Capacity "Elprom Harmanli" AD by Implementing New Technologies for Improving the Resource Effectiveness and Efficiency

The execution of the current project helps for the realization of a main necessity for Elprom Harmanli JSCo regarding the improvement of the competitiveness of the company through creating possibilities for betterment of the production and export capacity and enhancing the resourse effectiveness and efficiency. The enterprize faces the typical development problems of the Bulgarian SMEs,including high production costs, obsolete equipment and technologies, insufficient production capacity and quality of the manufactured products. The project falls into the eligible target group of the procedure as it consists of activities for implementation of new machinery and equipment for enhancement of the resource effectiveness and efficency and is actually in the field of the proposed tematic areas of the Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization. The activities of the project include production improvement, adding new characteristics and smartening of existing products and services, presenting variety of the assrotment of products and services and implementing of new equipment for the improvement of resource effectiveness and efficency in the production. The execution includes the purchase and implementation of the following 6 machines and equipment: 1. Stend for electrical testing of three-phase asynchronous motors stators - 2pieces; 2. Stand for electrical testing of three-phase asynchronous motors with power up to 11 kW (20A) - 1piece; 3. Stand for electrical testing of three-phase asynchronous motors with power up to 30 kW (50A) - 1piece; 4. Stand for laboratory testing of asynchronous motors - 1 piece; 5. CNC lathe - 1 piece; 6. Vertical machining center - 1 piece; Project is estimated to cost 568 232 lev, of which 60% or 340 939.20 lev are grant financial aid, and 40% or 227 292.80 are "Elprom Harmanli"'s own contribution. Project's duration is 18 months.
