Improving production capacity in „DIK - ENGINEERING“ LTD

The company DIK ENGINEERING OOD was founded in 1994 with main activity: production of plant protection equipment. The company produces: 1. Mounted and trailed sprayers with tank volume from 600 to 3800 liters and track from 10 to 24 meters. 2. Mounted pneumatic vineyard sprayers with directed spray action that allows for the simultaneous spraying of 4 rows. 3. Mounted horticulture mist blower sprayers – tank volume up to 1,500 liters and blower rotor diameter 850 mm. 4. Herbicide systems for delivery of soil herbicides during cultivation and sowing time. Production is carried out in the company’s own site in the town of Dobrich. Production and administrative premises with total area of 742 square meters are located on a terrain of 6,667 square meters. In the period 2012 – 2014 the company’s activity grew at a very fast pace which was due to the steadily growing demand of our production. In 2014 and currently production capacities are 100% loaded but the company is still unable to accept all orders and fulfill them in the deadlines and volumes requested by the clients. This requires urgent measures to increase production capacity. With the realization of this project, the production capacity of the company will be increased by 50% through the purchase and implementation of: 1. CNC Hydraulic Press Brake - 1 pc; 2. CNC Plasma Cutter - 1 pc; 3. CNC Lathe - 1 pc; 4. Column Jib Crane - 1 pc. Project activities include a procurement procedure (to be carried out in accordance with the procedure described in the Guidance on the Implementation of Grant Contracts financed under Operational Program “Innovations and Competitiveness” 2014 and Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 118 from 20.05.2014), delivery, installation and commissioning of the equipment. Total investment amount is of 392,714.50 BGN, VAT excl. Planned project duration is 18 months.
