Improving the production capacity and the technological processes in TERACOM Ltd

The company TERACOM Ltd was created in 1993 with scope of activity: manufacturing, engineering, servicing, leasing activity, marketing, etc. The main activity of the company is developing, production and trade with electronic products in the field of security and access control systems, communications, industrial electronics, remote controlling of processes and others. The relatively high share of innovative activities related to the development of new products help the company to redirect fast /for a period of two years/ and successfully 50% of its export production in the conditions of crisis. The need for innovative solutions in the field of access control systems helps the company to establish itself on the market for lift electronics, systems for hotels and offices, remote access control through the electronic networks /the Internet/. The company successfully executes orders for development and production of electronic components for doorlocks by the famous Bulgarian- German manufacturer Mauer Locking Systems Ltd–town of Varna. As a sub-contractor the company maintains a system for centralized control of the facilities of NURTS Bulgaria Plc. It fulfills production offers (O E M) for companies from the USA and Europe working within its own limited technical resources. TERACOM Ltd produces the following main groups of products: 1. Access control. 2. Monitoring and control. 3. Industrial electronics. After the hardest years of crisis the company recovers fast and in 2014 reaches the limitations of its production capacity. The existing equipment has exhausted its opportunities for development and the company’s orientation towards the international markets has led to increase in the number of orders. In order to improve its technological processes and increase its production capacity, with the current project TERACOM Ltd plans the delivery of new highly-productive equipment which will guarantee sustainable development of the company for the next 5 years.
