Increasing competitivity of STS ELECTRONICS LTD through investments in new equipment.

The current project envisages buying the following tangible fixed assets: Coaxial cable stripping machine – 1 pc., Checking stands for testing parameters of the proximity switches – 10 pcs., Soldering station with integrated aspiration system – 10 pcs. and Lathe – 1 pc. They will allow modernizing the technological base of the company, increasing manufacturing capacity, optimizing manufacturing processes, which is very important step in keeping our competitiveness on the high-requiring market. New equipment will lead to increasing quality and decreasing the costs of manufactured production. On the other side it will create prerequisites for increasing of possible volumes of manufacturing, because of increasing productivity for unit of time. These improvements are necessary due to the following reasons: 1. Lack of sufficient manufacturing capacity adequate to the required volumes by the market. In 2014 we established contact with German company looking for manufacturer who can produce large amount of sensors(around 80 000 pcs per year). For comparison, our manufacturing volume for the previous year was around 10 000 pcs. With our available manufacturing capacity, we can satisfy our partners necessities only partially. 2. Old machines (moral and technological outdated) require a lot of manual work, which makes the process slow, ineffective and production with low quality in comparison with automation solutions that are available at the market. 3. Automation systems market is developing very dynamically and there are trends in searching of hi-tech products. Preservation and expansion of market shares is directly connected with development and implementation of innovative products, whose creation and manufacture requires modern equipment and production resources
