Improving production capacity of Agria SA through introduction of a Fluid bed spray granulation plant

"Agria" SA is one of the leading companies in the production, import and marketing of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, performance enhancers, growth stimulants and micronutrients. The company's policy is aimed at expanding production capacity, increasing market share and continuous improvement of product quality. It aims to maximize the efficiency of the production process through introduction of modern equipment. In recent years, to meet the growing market demand and cover the entire range of formulations, "Agria" SA has invested in the purchase of machinery to enhance the capacity of segregated production "Dithiocarbamates" in the stages of synthesis, filtration, wet milling and formulating a suspension. At present, and with the available equipment, the production of granular pesticides is done only at the existing spray drying installation "Niro". This installation has reached its maximum production capacity, which is why the company cannot take on any new orders for the production of standard company products and the introduction of new products type "water-dispersible granules" is stopped. That is why "Agria" SA cannot increase production volumes and products and to reach its full production capacity and hence to meet growing market demand and to expand its market position. Through the purchase of new Fluid bed spray granulation plant, the company will fully absorb the increase production capacity of 10,000 tons / year for the production of dithiocarbamates in the stages of synthesis, filtration, wet milling and formulation of suspension.
