Improving the production capacity at GIP EOOD by introducing automated equipment

GIP EOOD, established in 2002 in Ruse, is a Bulgarian producer of coolants: antifreeze, summer and winter screen wash fluids and cosmetics for external and internal cleaning of vehicles. At present the enterprise produces and markets 30 product brands VEKO, GP and ZEROX with a 10% share of the Bulgarian market. To meet current competitive market conditions GIP EOOD needs to increase its capacities and productivity, improve the production process and quality characteristics of the coolants, diversify the product range and improve the resource efficiency. This project proposal envisages the purchase and commissioning of modern technological equipment directly related to expansion and improvement of the level of production processes, storage of raw materials and finished products, automating the management of the production process and quality control. The project provides for the following investments in tangible and intangible assets: • Technological installation for storage of raw materials and finished products; • Automated production line for filling antifreeze and screen wash fluid in plastic tubes and bottles of 1 to 4 liters; • Inkjet marker printer; • Laboratory equipment; • Software for production process control. The foreseen technological innovation will help improve the production capacity, increase productivity and business efficiency and hence the competitiveness on the domestic and international markets. Implementing the project will provide a competitive advantage for GIP EOOD and will have immediate impact on achieving the enterprise strategic objective for sustainable growth, improved export potential and turn it into one of the leaders in Bulgaria in the manufacture of coolants.
