"Improvement of production capacity in "Ludal Friction" EOOD"

“Ludal Friction” Ltd. has been established in 2010 and is specialized in manufacturing high quality non-asbestos friction products, including drum and disc brake pads for light and heavy vehicles, buses, trailers and semi-trailers, friction discs and specialized friction products. The expansion of market positions and the increase in the competitiveness of the external markets, characterized by high intensity of the competitive struggle, require continuous improvement of the production processes in order to meet the current trends of production in the industry, the dynamics in the development of the consumer demand and requirements to the final products. In view of this the realization of this project is envisaged with the main objective of increasing production capacity and export potential of “Ludal Friction” LTD. The project will be realized by implementing the following set of eligible activities under the present procedure for: 1) improvement of the production processes; 2) variegation of companies’ range of products; 3) introduction of new technologies to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness in the production process, representing investments in tangible fixed assets –hot press - 1 pc., inside grinding machine - 1 pc. and outisde grinding machine - 1 pc., associated with the expansion of the capacity of the existing establishment. Project activities and the results expected from their successful implementation will contribute to effectively overcome the problems and constraints hampering the development of the company and to increase its competitiveness related to the lack of enough production capacity, use of outdated technologies, high production costs as well as lower quality of manufactured products and inability to expand the range of produts. The project falls within the priorities of the present procedure related to the thematic and regional prioritization, sustainable development and participation in OPC procedures.
