Improving the production capacity of "SAMI MCD" Ltd. by introducing high-tech production equipment.

"SAMI MCD" Ltd. was established in 2003. The company is specialized in the repairs and maintenance of facilities and equipment for the tobacco industry. The Company is focused on the production of spare and wear parts for secondary equipment (including cutting machines, cigarette making and filter attaching machines, packing and wrapping machines, etc.) having strong expertise in technology and parts’ nomenclature and specifications. The main activity of the company is: - Manufacture of format-dependant parts and size change conversion kits (garniture format units for cigarette and filter making machines, drums for filter attaching machines, glue rollers, etc.). - Production and maintenance of fast moving parts (knives, knife head assembly, rollers, guides); - Rebuilding, repair and reconstruction of machines. In order to improve the manufacture capacity of the company and its export potential, the present project provides for the purchase of high-tech production equipment. Sustainable and long-term improvement of the competitiveness of Sami MCD Ltd. will be achieved through the acquisition and installation of modern and high-tech equipment - vertical traveling column. The successful implementation of the project will enable the company to increase its production capacity and will lead to broader product range, higher volume of production, shorter deadlines for manufacture, full compliance with the customer requirements and significant improvement in the quality of end products. This will create opportunities for the company to expand its positions on the European and world markets.
