Improving the capacity for growth of Bulgarian manufacturer of special equipment for off-road vehicles on the global market

UNIT TOTAL REAL Ltd. is a manufacturer of special equipment and accessories for off-road vehicles with the trademark "Gladiator Offroad-Technik". The company was established in 1995 as car and standard autopart importer. In 2001 the candidate's business transformed to import of off-road equipment from world-famous manufacturers. In 2005 the company started producing for the global leaders from which it had been importing so far. The company's production is sold to a few key customers from Germany, Ireland, Austria. In 2010 UNIT TOTAL REAL Ltd. signed a 10-year partnership with Drive Rite - the Irish division of the multinational company Firestone, which assigned the applicant the development of components for pneumatic vehicle suspension incorporated into current models of Renault. As key subcontractor, the applicant produces for Drive Rite a full range of components for initial and aftermarket pneumatic suspension for buses, pickups, compact trucks. Some of those are joint Ramp;D products between UNIT TOTAL REAL Ltd. and Drive Rite. In order to satisfy the increasing volume of export orders and provide quality of no compromise at optimal cost, the company needs to radically enhance its capacity to perform key metalworking operations. For the purpose the following activities will be carried out under this project : - Improvement of manufacturing processes; - Adding new features and improvement of existing products; - Implementation of new technologies to improve resource efficiency. These activities will be fulfilled by purchase of the following tangible assets: - Laser cutting machine - Hydraulic bending machine with CNC The increased capacity and productivity, combined with top manufacturing quality are a basic factor towards the increase of the export potential of the applicant in the narrow segment of off-road equipment where producers globally are relatively few while added value and profit - high.
