Setting up competative advantages in Teletek Electronics JSC by improving the production capacity and export potential

Teletek Electronics JSC is the only Bulgarian manufacturer of intruder and fire alarm systems that successfully exports to over 70 countries. The company develops and runs the entire life cycle of its products – from conceptualization through research and development and industrialization, to production and marketing, producing innovative and reliable products. In terms of dynamic consumer demand and increasing competition, the company faces problems and constraints like inadequate capacity of test and control systems, limited performance due to use of manual labor in some of the manufacturing processes; difficulties in optimizing the cost structure due to lack of technological equipment for improving the resource efficiency and effectiveness. In order to meet international market conditions, Teletek Electronics JSC must resolve the above problems. To achieve this goal the company needs to increase production capacity and productivity, improve the production process and quality characteristics, diversify its product range and improve the resource efficiency. The project proposal envisages the introduction of new, knowledge-based technologies and the purchase and commissioning of high-tech automated equipment directly related to the improvement of the production capacities and to enhancing the export potential of the enterprise. The project plans the following investments in long-term fixed assets: 1. Automated system for visual quality control; 2. Automated test system for wireless and GSM/GPRS devices; 3. Rework station; 4. Laser engraver; 5. Labeling feeder; 6. Automated line for selective coating of mounted PCBs; 7. Nitrogen module for storing electronic components; 8. Stencil washing machine.
